The computer animations for this part of the course are not ready yet. We are working on them! Therefore, in order to help you to practice the concepts involved in waves and sound, the following set of homeworks are assigned.
1) Chapter 19: Study "review questions" at the end of chapter, pages 377-378. There are 30 review questions. You should write your answers to the odd number questions in your note book.
2) Chapter 20: Study "review questions" at the end of chapter, pages 395-396. There are 35 review questions. You should write your answers to the even number questions in your note book.
These notes will replace the computer lessons for this week. Please make sure that you submit them with your notes of the computer exercises from previous weeks.
Question Sets: I will post a multiple-choice question set for these chapters. The solutions will be provided!
Home Experiments: No home experiment is scheduled for this week.
Question Set 10: This set includes questions about temperature and heat. I have posted the solutions. Please study carefully to prepare for the test.
Test 3: This test includes chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17. Chapters 19 and 20 will be included in the next test.
Schedule for test 3: Test 3 will be available from Friday, October 25th through Monday, October 28th.
